Julia, Lukas and Rebecca arrive.

Julia, Lukas and Rebecca arrived on wednesday afternoon. Whilst waiting for them to clear customs out popped a familiar face, traveling first class on the same flight, it was Ryan Philippe.



Rather than getting bogged down in the evening rush hour traffic, we headed to Venice beach for a wander and a coffee. The sun was warm and the promenade full of the usual nutters.




Despite his celebrity status it seems that even R2D2 has a hard time in this city.



Back home to Silverlake and then off to the 101 for supper. Next day the gang headed off to look at Gehry's concert hall down town, whilst I attended class at the AFI.



Friday the gang headed off to Beverly Hills, Mulholland drive etc. I went to class at the AFI and then wrapped up a few outstanding issues for Cycle III, went location scouting with Bryan Croes and had a rehearsal with Fanshen and Karl.











In the evening went to Michelangelo's for supper. Zeke, Courteny, Bryan, Carey and Nick joined us. Lovely evening.
