Sound and LA Short Fest

Day kicked off with a sound lecture. Haresh you wouldn't be impressed with our kit! It's satisfactory, efficient and does the job - nothing super duper here.

Zoomed off to Burbank and the LA Shorts Fest to watch 'What Does Your Daddy Do?' Mainly film makers in the audience and a little disappointing attendance. Film went down well and caused a stir. In fact a 'Federal Officer' came up to me and was really impressed with the story, so a good contact as I rewrite the feature version into American!

Back in time for a production lecture on the role of the 1st AD.

Tonight back in London was Piers 40th Birthday at the RORC. Really wished I was able to attend, received a call during class from Julia saying she had a great time - will find out all tomorrow.

Sophie took us out for a 'team dinner' at the Dresden in Los Feliz - infamous for being in the film 'Swingers'. You are money.

hey Mart,

We are starting a monthly film night at Substance. The Sting is Andy's choice and mine in 2 weeks time is Swingers. Were people dancing at the Dresden? I do hope so!
